- THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION HAS BEEN UPDATED IN THE INFORMATION BELOW: * ESTIMATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE * ESTIMATED RESPONSE DATE This solicitation is for a 3 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)- type, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) contract for Plating Shop Chemicals. 100% Small Business Set Aside A Site Visit will be scheduled for this solicitation. While it is not mandatory to attend the site visit, it is highly encouraged. Site Visit details will be disclosed in the solicitation. Estimated Solicitation Release Date: 14 MAY 2013 Estimated Response Date: 14 JUNE 2013 This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing to obtain an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website. All dates in this announcement are estimates and are subject to change. Note: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Government. Request that inquiries be in writing only.
