- FBO Posting 402-0099-13, Request for Information: Supply Chain Risk Management Risk Analysis Database, Questions and Answers 1 - 11, posted May 10, 2013 Q1. I am hoping you can tell me if there is an incumbent contractor/ contract number associated with this potential opportunity? A1. There is no incumbent contractor. This requirement is new. Q2. Will DIA consider extending the RFI Response Due Date an additional two weeks? A2. No. The deadline remains as Thursday, May 16 at 1 PM. Q3. Is a current system in place? Or this there an incumbent currently providing similar services? A3. There is no incumbent contractor. This requirement is new. Q4. SOW states work can be done at contractors facility, is there a requirement that the facility must be located locally? A4. The contractor facility need not be local to the Washington DC metropolitan area. Q5. Is the requirement looking for a COTS (Common off the shelf product) or a customizable solution to meet the clients' needs? A5. DIA has no preference. Q6. Is it a requirement that TSC/SCI clearances be currently held or is there an option for existing Secret clearances be upgraded to TSC/SCI A6. The constraint is 3.1 is "Database integration work will be done at government facilities where TS/SCI is required."There is no requirement that TS/SCI clearance be currently held. There is no option for another clearance for that facility. Q7. Does the hardware system exist? If so can we be privy to the specifications? If not, are there existing requirements for the hardware and would it be purchased by the contractor? A7. For the purposes of this RFI, assume that standard information technology infrastructure. Q8. What type of database is required? A8. Please see the technical requirements. Q9. Is CMMI certification required? A9. Please see the technical requirements. CMMI certification is not required. Please Q10. Are all 100 people located in the same place? Are they in different agencies? Wondering as it pertains to training on the database. A10. This RFI does not concern training. The 100 people must be able to access the database via JWICS. Should the location or employer of these 100 people impact your capabilities, please address in you response. Q11. Are both hard and soft copy submittals required? A11. See section 9, "Both hard and soft copy submissions must be made".
