- Amendment #6 This amendment #6 to RFP 240562 is issued to provide answers to offeror generated questions. Specifically this RFP is modified as follows: 1.0 Question: We do not find in any of the documentation if bonding (Assurity Guarantee) is required. We assume it is, since this will be a government contract. Can you please either point to where we can find this information if included or if not just let us know. Answer: Obtaining a bond (Assurity Guarantee)is not required. 2.0 Question: The Tabulated specification for hutch, 19-ID-A, drawing number PD-NYX-HU-1110 does not call for a shield thickness at the upstream wall. Answer: Hutch 19-ID-A, drawing Number PD-NYX-HU-1110, the upstream wall panel shall be 50mm thick lead. Note: Proposals are due May 17, 2013. No further questions will be entertained. Please be reminded as noted in section 3.3 of the solicitation "any discrepancies in, or omissions from, any of the documents, or be in doubt as to the meaning of any document, it should immediately advise BSA in writing, or by e-mail to gwoods@bnl.gov, no later than five (5) business days prior to the proposal due date to allow time for responses to be received by all prospective Offerors." Except as noted herein, all requirements as set forth in RFP solicitation request 240562 remain unchanged. Any questions should be addressed in writing to the attention of George Woods.
