Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purpose of market research only. This notice is not a solicitation. Responses to this notice will not be evaluated for award. Responses will only be utilized to survey the market place and determine the availability of this service. The Grand Junction Colorado VA Medical Center is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for sleep study services. The Contractor's duties shall include, but not be limited to: diagnostic medical testing and analysis of services of sleep related respiratory disturbances using a portable unattended home sleep testing device. These Home Sleep Testing Devices will be provided to veteran patients referred by the Grand Junction VA Medical Center. The Contractor must also provide a comprehensive sleep study report from the data collected by the Home Sleep Testing Device. The report must include information regarding respiratory movement, heart rate, and oxygen saturation. The Contractor must provide enough information so that the Apnea Index and Hyoponea Index can be calculated. The Contractor will also be responsible for providing a portable pulse oximeter testing device that can be used during sleep. Lastly the Contractor shall provide the instruction as how to use the sleep study devices to the referred veterans. The Contractor is also responsible for all maintenance and sanitation of their provided sleep study devices. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541380. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain the potential market capacity. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. Please provide documentation of the size of your business. If you are classified as a small business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone small business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business and/or SBA 8(a) certified small business, please provide a capability statement in addition to the other information for acquisition strategy determination. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made.
