Description
Inspection shall consist of visually inspecting the luminary poles, their base plates, anchorage, and foundation. Hands on inspection of elements over 8 feet above ground level will not be required. Inspection of elements greater than 8 feet above ground level will be inspected by using optics with at least a ten times magnification factor. Lock and Dam 1 Minneapolis, MN Lock and Dam 2 Hastings, MN Lock and Dam 3 Red Wing, MN Lock and Dam 4 Alma, WI Lock and Dam 5 Minneiska, MN Lock and Dam 5a Fountain City, WI Lock and Dam 6 Trempealeau, WI Lock and Dam 7 La Crescent, MN Lock and Dam 8 Genoa, WI Lock and Dam 9 Lynxville, WI Lock and Dam 10 Guttenberg, IA Reporting. A separate report shall be created for each lock. Reports shall be sealed by a professional registered engineer in a U.S. state or territory. Reports shall consist of a cover page, table of contents, executive summary, element rating reports (1 per pole), photos, and NDT reports. The highmast light poles shall be given descriptive names according to their location. Schedule. Contractor shall complete all field inspection work within 60 calendar days after contract award. The draft report shall be provided to the Contracting Officer for review no later than 90 calendar days after contract award. The government shall provide comments no later than 15 calendar days after receipt of the draft report. Comments shall be incorporated and the final report shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer no later than 120 calendar days after contract award.
