- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a sole source, one-year, repair contract for the following assets applicable to the AN/ALQ - 131 for Forward and Aft Deep Cover Assembles. Noun: Forward Access Cover; NSN: 5340-01-522-0546EW; Part Number: 774R230G01; Quantity: 1 Each. Noun: Forward Access Cover; NSN: 5340-01-281-4184EW or NSN: 5340-01-216-4656EW (Input NSNs), Part Numbers: 766R544G01 or 754R787G01 (Input Part Numbers), and NSN: 5340-01-281-4184EW (Output NSN) and Part Number: 766R544G01 (Output Part Number); Quantity: 15 Each. Noun: Forward Access Cover; NSN: 5340-01-413-8311EW or NSN: 5340-01-413-8305EW (Input NSNs); Part Number: 782R788G01 or 782R786G01 (Input Part Numbers); and NSN: 5340-01-413-8311EW (Output NSN); Part Number: 782R788G01 (Output Part Number); Quantity: 14 Each. This repair contract will be for one (1) year and will be established as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP)-type contract. The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Omohundro Company; Cage Code (33747), in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) due to the fact that [RMSC R] the Government does not have adequate data, lacks rights to data, or both needed to contract repair of this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. This code is used when the Government did not initially purchase the data and/or rights. All responsible sources may submit capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Forward Access Cover Dimensions: 53.0 in (L) x 12.0 in (W) x 9.0 in (H). Weight: 18.0 lbs. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Constructed of aluminum and fiberglass. Item Form/Fit/Function: Cover, Access AN/ALQ - 131 Block II ECM Pod. Aft Deep Cover Dimensions: 24.44 in (L) x 11.08 in (W) x 6.79 in (H). Weight: 10.25 lbs. Predominant Material of Manufacture: The cover is a composite of numerous materials including the Ceres core, (a fiberglass-like resin), fiberglass, and various metal components. Item/Fit/function: Access, Cover. Anticipated Destination Info: SW3119 (Robins AFB, GA). The anticipated Delivery Schedule is as follows: Any combination of 8 each serviceable Forward Deep Covers will be shipped 60 days ARO/ARA to cover MICAPs and high priority backorders. 60 days ARO/ARA at a rate of 3 each per month after 8 each MICAP and high priority backorders. The anticipated release date of the RFP to FedBizOpps (FBO): 28 May 2013; anticipated response/proposal due date: 27 June 2013.
