Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) is seeking sources to provide a mobile security solution that provides security around mobile devices. This procurement is for a VA Mobile lab environment and not an entire enterprise solution. The solution shall provide the ability for VA to review analysis of application threats; the ability to segment devices on a CISCO network by using NAC technology, and a proximity sensor technology that utilizes mobile devices wireless signals to determine location and provide alerts/access for those mobile devices. 1.The contractor shall provide a solution which includes the following services: a.Software updates and releases b.Delivery of bug fixes and patches c.Annual software product maintenance, upgrades, and support d.Technical support provided by telephone on a 24x7 basis e.Continuous efforts problem resolution engineering upon request for Severity 1 cases f.Access to technical support website g.Content updates and upgrade assurance h.All necessary hardware for solutions 2.The contractor shall provide a Mobile Application Analysis tool which meets the following requirements: a.A web repository of the analysis of applications, including the top apps from the IOS and Android stores b.The ability to submit public apps for review and analysis, with CLINs to submit more apps based on need c.A ranking of the security of the apps, including what the app does on the mobile device, where it communicates, and the overall trustworthiness of the app. 3.Network Access Control (NAC) shall meet the following requirements: a.Must be compatible with VA's CISCO network b.Must be able to segment devices into a "reduced capability" segment of the network until devices meet compliance c.Must be able to integrate with VA's Active Directory d.Must be able to integrate with VA's MDM- Airwatch e.Must be compatible with OS, Android, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8 f.Must utilize FIPS technology for any data in transit or data in rest g.Must be able to recognize status of VA's security tools- IBM TEM, Microsoft SCCM, Mcafee EPOL/AV/HIPS, and OS patch levels and versions. 4.Mobile Device Proximity Technology shall meet the following requirements: a.Must be able to recognize the wireless signals and be able to triangulate it's physical location b.Must be able to integrate with VA's MDM- Airwatch This is a request for information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal or quote. It is requested that all companies interested in participating in this effort please note their interest and provide indication of their respective capabilities to perform the effort described above. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bid, Request for Quotation, or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by VA in developing its acquisition strategy and Performance Work Statement. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. The following information must be submitted with your capabilities statement.
