- The purpose of this amendment is to revise the solicitation and the performance work statement by reducing the quantities for item numbers 0001, 0002, and 0003. In addition, to revise the solicitation period of performance start date from 1 June 2013 to 14 June 2013, to change the question date from 6 May 2013 to 21 May 2013, and to extend the end date from 14 May 2013 to 31 May 2013. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall reference solicitation number W911RZ-13-T-0067. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66, dated 28 February 2013. Fort Carson intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for Catholic Chaplain Services. The services shall be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). A priest wishing to serve as a contract chaplain with the Archdiocese Military Service (AMS), must apply for and receive from the Military Ordinary the appropriate endorsement before AMS faculties may be granted and provide written proof to the Contracting Officer of permission from his diocesan bishop or religious superior to enter into these services as well as provide current Ecclesiastical Endorsement from the Archdiocese for Military Services (AMS), USA http://www.milarch.org prior to the performance start date. The period of performance (POP) is 14 June 2013 through 30 September 2013. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 813110. This requirement is Unrestricted.
