Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Texas Health Care Systems, VA Medical Center, 1901 Memorial Drive, Temple, TX - Intent to sole source procurement under authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, with The Trevino Group, 1636 N. Hampton Rd., Suite 230, DeSoto, TX, 75115, to modify the current contract to provide additional corrections to the Life Safety Assessment project for the Temple TX facility. The proposed action is for services, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements without causing an unacceptable delay in completion of Life Safety Corrections to VAMC, Temple. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any qualified vendor that determines it can meet the government's requirements may give written notification through e-mail to Contract Specialist, Patricia.Chandler2@va.gov, by May 28, 2013, 3:00PM EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with requirements at no cost or obligation to the Government, however, the information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no responses are received, the VA Medical Center, Temple, TX, will proceed to sole source this requirement to The Trevino Group.
