Description

This Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract for the repair, maintenance, and support of the AN/ALQ-135 Electronics Countermeasure System. This acquisition is for the depot level repair of classified ALQ-135 Band 3 items and Bands 1&2 Traveling Wave Tubes. This requirement is sole source to: Northrop Grumman Technical Services, 101 Industrial Park Blvd, Warner Robins, GA; (CAGE: 1LTU5). Authority: 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The contract will include a basic one year period of performance with four (4) one (1) year options. The total contract length will be five years, if all options are exercised. Solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 30 May 2013 with response due 30 days after solicitation issue date. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The RFP will NOT be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov.
