Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT WITH THESIMRAD. PURPOSE IS TO PURCHASE 120 KHZ ES-60 GBT BOX FOR HYDROACOUSTIC SYSTEM. THE 120 KHZ ES-60 GBT BOX IS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN COMPATIBILITY WITH THE charter vessel that we are presently under contract with. THIS CHARTER VESSEL CURRENTLY has a Simrad system with Simrad hydroacoustic transducers and appropriate wiring for both the 38 and 120 kHz frequencies. Thus we require a Simrad 120 kHz GPT box in order for the system to interface with the 120 and 38 kHz in order to provide data from both frequencies simultaneously and in real-time. RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 15 CALENDAR DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THIS NOTICE. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES EXPRESSING INTEREST SHALL BE CONSIDERED. RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE WILL BE EVALUATED TO DETERMINE WHETHER TO ISSUE A COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION. THIS IS A SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION WITH AN ESTIMATED VALUE OF LESS THAN $150,000.
