- Clin 01 and Clin 03 refer to "One-Time Personnel monitoring", so vendor comes on-site only one time and stays as many days as needed to achieve all on the monitoring and assessments? Clin 02 would have vendor come quarterly and stays as many days as needed to achieve all on the monitoring and assessments? *All samples should be taken on the same day. CLIN 001 - Jacksonville, FL Task 1.1 - How many job tasks and personnel in each building are to be monitored? *Building # and # of personnel to be monitored: 389 (2), 390 (3), 391 (1), 392 (1), 394 (1) and 396 (2). *Up to 10 total personnel. Task 1.1 - Are we monitoring the "worst case scenario" in each building or different job tasks in each building? *Tasks being performed in the building is to be monitored. Task 1.1 - Can you provide a site map indicating where the buildings are in relation to each other? *Site information will be provided to the vendor upon contract award and on the day of the first scheduled visit. Task 1.2 - OPNAVINST 5100.23G (page 21-2) mentions the potential for lead to be in polyurethane paint. Can we get a link to the SDS (MSDS) of the polyurethane paint sed at the facility? Is the polyurethane painting done in a booth or in an open area? How big of an area is to be monitored and how many painters are there? *Painting is done in building 392. 1 personnel is to be monitored. Task 1.3 - Is there a specific # of surfaces to be sampled in each building? Need more information about the tasks performed in each of the buildings where heavy metals potential exposure is anticipated. *Up to 3 areas per building should have samples taken. Task 1.4 - We have located a Product Data Sheet by Ecolink for Parts Cleaner (qualified to MIL PRF-680C, Type II. How many processes use MIL-PRF-680C Type II and where is it used? Is it one of the bldgs. already designated for employee monitoring by this scope, or in different building? *Samples will be taken on 2 personnel. Building to be chosen by site on day of testing. Task 2.1 - For noise: do you want area noise surveys or actual noise dosimetry for personnel as relates to OSHA Noise and hearing Conservation standard? If personnel dosimetry, how many different processes and job descriptions are to be assessed (or just worst case scenario)? Area noise samples will be collected throughout the inside and outside of Buildings 389, 390, 391, 392, 394 and 396. Deliverables - Are reports due within 2 weeks of completion of sampling or 2 weeks from the time laboratory analysis is complete? *Reports are due within 14 days of completion of sampling. CLIN 002 - Ft. Worth, TX Deliverables - Are reports due within 14 days of completion of sampling or 14 days from the time laboratory analysis is complete? *Reports are due within 14 days of completion of sampling. Task 5.8 - There is mention of nominal exposure periods of (~2 hours) Do you mean that the task is only done for 2 hours per day or that you only want a 2 hour sample. OSHA standards and ACGIH guidelines are base on 8-Hr. time-weighted averages (TWA) or 15 minute short term exposure levels (STELs). *Only need 1 sample. Based on a period of approximately 2 hours. CLIN 003 - Pensacola, FL Employee Exposure Monitoring - how many employees in each of the 4 areas to be sampled? *Up to 8 personnel during the work shift. In SCOPE Requirements section, Does the "4 areas" refer to 4 welding areas plus the blast booth, blast cabinet and paint booth, or the fours areas are blast booth, blast cabinet and paint booth and welding areas? * Areas are blast booth, blast cabinet and paint booth and welding areas
