Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of a 1,000 hour Horticulture VT Training Certificate Program at the Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida. The contract shall consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611310 with a small business size standard of $25.5 million. The estimated maximum quantities are 1,500 (1) one hour sessions (30 hours per week) for the base period and each option period excluding Federal Holidays. The solicitation will be made available on or about January 23, 2013 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is February 21, 2013. Anticipated date of award is in March 2013. This solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
