Description

Price Sheet Draft Itinerary Statement of Work - Multi-Day DC Tour 1. This announcement is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. The solicitation number is HSCG41-13-Q-MJA113 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 3. Competition for this procurement is Full and Open Competition. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561520 the small business standard is $7,000,000. 4. The solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. The USCG intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for services to provide a multi-day guided tour of monuments, historical sites, government facilities, museums, and other significant cultural sites in Washington, DC area for a diverse group of international military students and US escorts from the USCG Training Center, Yorktown, VA. See attached SOW and Draft Itinerary. Services include, but, are not limited to transportation, lodging, meals, supplies, management, labor and tour guide services. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. 5. The USCG intends to acquire the following items: ITEM 0001: Field Studies Program Trip to Washington DC. The performance period for these services June 17-21, 2013. 6. The following FAR and HSAR provisions and clauses as well as addenda apply to this acquisition and are incorporated by reference or in full text. 7. The offeror shall submit an electronic version of their quote in word, excel, or adobe pdf format by 12:00 pm ET on Monday, June 03, 2013 via e-mail to Jennifer.l.rehberg@uscg.mil. Any questions must be emailed to SKC Rehberg no later than 1:00 pm ET on Thursday, May 30, 2013. 8. The contractor shall provide a quote that addresses all SOW requirements, with no exceptions. The contractor's quote package shall include the completed pricing sheet, an itinerary identifying the restaurants and lodging to be used, tour guide resume, & motorcoach operator resume. Additional solicitation requirements, terms and conditions, are as follows and shall be submitted with your response. a. The solicitation number; b. The name, address, and telephone number of the offeror; c. A technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. The designation letter will set forth the authorities and limitations of the COTR under the contract. (b) The Contracting Officer cannot authorize the COTR or any other representative to sign documents, such as contracts, contract modifications, etc., that require the signature of the Contracting Officer.
