- Fire Trainer Maintenance State Of Work RFQ: M67001-13-Q-0159 Fire Trainer and Maintenance 1. Solicitation Requirements: All contractors must comply with the listed below for this request. Failure to comply may result in disqualification. a) Request delivery of all items: TBD b) Items being requested: CLIN 0001: Qty: 1 Each; Evaluate and Maintain the Fire Trainer in order to keep the trainer operational. Implement all scheduled adjustments and part replacements to ensure the system is fully operational at 6 month intervals. Contractor will also respond to request to evaluate and repair equipment as needed. Contractor shall furnish all parts, materials, and labor required. Period of performance 1 July 2013 through 30 June 2014. There will also be two one year option periods to be exercised at the Government's discretion. CLIN 0002: Qty: 1 Each; Installation of a remote controlled E-Stop Assembly which is controlled by a "Safety Man" outside of the trainer without being part of the training evolution. The individual assigned to the controller will manually operate a switch for the burners to ignite. One time charge for this installation. CLIN 0003: Qty: 1 Each; Relocate of the 3-D fire fuel spill from underneath the nose to underneath the engine to simulate a 3-D fire which is now a requirement according to NFPA 1003 Ch 6.3.4 and NFPA 405 Ch 15.3.4 Extinguishing a 3 Dimensional Aircraft Fuel Fire. One time charge for this relocation and installation. CLIN 0004: Qty 1 Each; Repair/Rework the steel valve cabinet covers, they are rusted through and the valves are becoming damaged due to the exposure to fires and weather. This is a onetime repair charge. 2. Evaluation: The vendor's quote shall provide a detailed description (to include a specification sheet) of how the vendor will meet the Government's requirements listed above. Award will be made to the responsible vendor who provides the lowest evaluated price for a technically acceptable solution. Technical acceptability will be based on the demonstrated ability to meet the technical requirements, including the delivery requirement. The Government intends to award one contract, on an all or none basis, to the vendor whose quote provides the lowest price technically acceptable solution; however the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all, depending on the quality of the quotes submitted and the availability of funds. 3.
