- Industry Day DDS3 - Full information for May 23 AMENDED REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/DELIVERY SERVICES Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative General Services Administration Domestic Delivery Service Recompete (DDS3) On May 23, 2013, the General Services Administration (GSA) will host individual Market Research sessions between the Government and shipping & package delivery vendors as part of an ongoing project to define the potential requirements for a government-wide shipping contract. The purpose of these sessions is to solicit feedback from industry on the proposed model, stakeholder requirements, and other pertinent issues to assess viability of the model and its requirements, including: •· Allow vendors to bring capabilities and creative solutions to the Government before final development and potential issuance of requirements. •· Begin a collaborative dialogue between Government and industry regarding the Government's shipping needs.
