Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-13-G-0001 on an other than full and open competition to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) 6900 Main St. Stratford, CT 06614. The anticipated work is for SAC to incorporate a combination NVD Friendly Forward Recovery, Assist, Securing & Traversing (RAST) / Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) light, a NVD compatible RAST Control Panel and a dual mode Controllable Searchlight into production MH-60R aircraft. The non-recurring engineering efforts include performing a joint Validation/Verification (VAL/VER) using a Draft Technical Directive for the NVD Friendly Forward Recovery, Assist, Securing & Traversing (RAST) / Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) light. This synopsis replaces the original ECP 4322 effort synopsis N00019-10-P2-AU272 posted on 22 December 2010. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency's requirements. SAC is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, expertise, and proprietary technical data required to successfully perform these tasks.
