- This is a notice of intent to extend a sole source contract. The U.S. Army Contracting Command- APG Belvoir intends to extend on a sole sources basis an existing Task Order under contract number W15P7T-06-C-M209 with Raytheon Company, 2501 W. University Dr. McKinney, TX 75071-2813. Under the proposed action, the contractor shall continue to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the repairs on the Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared (2GF) A-Kits including Thermal Receiver Units (TRU), Commander's Independent Thermal viewers (CITV) and the B-Kit components including Imagers, D/C benches, Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and Afocals, that support the M1A2 and M1A2 System Enhancement package (SEP) Abrams Tanks. The extension will enable the repair of only those components that are currently in the contractor's possession. The Period of Performance ends on 30 November 2013. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Responses shall be no longer than ten (10) pages and shall be in a Microsoft Word compatible format. The anticipated date of award to extend on a sole source basis the existing SLIN is 05 July 2013. All responders must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 and DFAR 252.204-7004. In addition, all offerors must complete the Certifications and Representations as set forth in FAR 52.212-3.
