- This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for a Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Letterkenny Army Depot is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources of supply. Negative replies are also sought. Contractor should not include any pricing. Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) is seeking potential sources of supply to manufacture and deliver the following item: 0001. Stackable pallet racks, 154 total with staggered delivery. All components shall be structural quality carbon steel. Finish power coat paint with appropriate surface preparation. Capacity of the individual racks shall be designed and rated at 4,000 lbs distributed load each, stacked 3-high, for a total of 12,000 lbs per stack. Nesting design and sizing of racks shall allow empty racks to be nested for storage. The nesting racks will be built according to the attached drawing. All racks will be manufactured of defect free materials. The approximate size of the nesting rack is 52.5 quote mark H X 57.5 quote mark W X 55.5 quote mark D. Tier-Rack Corp design LN-4, base design B-4 or equal. If you believe another NAICS is more applicable based on the requirement, please so indicate and state the justification with your reply. If your firm is capable of requirements described in this RFI, please provide a Capability Statement to Ms. Laura Buehler, laura.j.buehler.civ@mail.mil by 22 May 13, 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. In addition, the following information is requested: (1) Company cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact, telephone number and email address; (2) Any small business status (8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.); (3) Please indicate which NAICS code(s) and FSC codes your company usually performs under Government contracts (4) GSA contract number if applicable The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information.
