- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to purchase on a sole source basis the following SRICO Inc. equipment: Fiber Optic E-Field Sensor System which consists of: Model 200-04-03 OE Box, Model 200-04-01 1 GHz E-Field Probe, Model 200-04-03-C 20 GHz E-Field Probe, Model 200-04-Mux-02 Multiplexer Box, Operators Manual, Troubleshooting Guide, and Calibration Procedure. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13 as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. Anticipated award date is by 15 June 2013. Quotes may be submitted via e-mail to susan.staples@navy.mil. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIFED UNDER THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICIATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in SAM via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov or calling (866)606-8220. Please note that defense payment offices may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor ™s EFT information contained in the CCR database. This synopsis will close on 22 May 2013 at 12 Noon ET.
