- Project 636-13-125, Renovate Restrooms. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, necessary to Renovate Restrooms located at the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS) Omaha VA Medical Center, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105-1850. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection specialty services and necessary demolition and certain other trades necessary for the completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-13-B-1971 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about June 4, 2013. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will be held sometime during the week of June 10-14, 2013. (See solicitation when available for specific date/time/location of site visit). Bids are tentatively scheduled to be due on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be 270 calendar days from the receipt of award. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
