Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Due to proprietary information/ rights, the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Negotiations to be conducted solely with Midvale Industries, the authorized distributor of ADM-GPX 20/50 Starch-G, Acrylic Blast Media (Type VII) manufactured by Archer-Daniels Midland. This requirement is for 36,000lbs (120 drums) of ADM-GPX 20/50 Starch-G, Acrylic Blast Media (Type VII) for use @ the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas. This synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This determination is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation.
