- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The 177th Fighter Wing has a requirement for rag exchange service at 400 Langley Road, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ 08234. Contractor shall furnish all labor and transportation necessary for monthly rag exchange service as specified in the attached Performance Work Statement and this solicitation. Contractor shall exchange clean cotton rags, 12 inches x 12 inches, for soiled rags at designated locations. The rags will be delivered to 12 different shops throughout the base and are to be of any color except RED and must be lint-free. The contractor will collect dirty rags on a monthly basis and drop off clean rags at specified location on a one-for-one basis and should not exceed 3380 rags per month. Dirty rags will be petroleum saturated at the time of exchange. Clean rags must be free of any previous residue/solvents. Any prospective contractors must be authorized and certified to provide the required service must show proof of past similar work with any provided documents at the time of responding to this Request for Proposal announcement. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 812331-Linen Supply ($14.0).
