- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to add F-35 to the BOA and to change to the correct BOA number. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a class of actions against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-13-G-0018 with Rolls Royce (Indianapolis) on a sole source basis. The following defines requirements for the following programs: E-2C, E-2D, C-2, P-3. C-130, KC-130J, F-35. The following defines requirements for the following programs: E-2C, E-2D, C-2, P-3. C-130, KC-130J, F-35 Orders authorized under this BOA include: The contractor will provide engineering and logistic services in support of the Component Improvement Program (CIP) for U.S. Navy and foreign military sales (FMS) customers of the various aircraft type/model/series (T/M/S) and derivative, listed above, excluding the F-35. The CIP will include, but is not limited to, engineering and logistics support of engineering investigations; training; publication development; support equipment procurement and support equipment repair; development and validation of change kits; change kit procurement and change kit installation; engineering services, sustaining or production engineering support; logistic modeling and analysis; technical representative field services; and the non-recurring engineering for design, development, prototyping, and validation & testing of propulsion system component improvements for systems related to engines and quick engine change kits. Additionally, it will include repair of components, modules and testing for the T56-A-427A engine only. For the F-35, this will include the non-recurring effort, support equipment and tooling procurement that will allow for the repair of components, modules and testing for the F135 STOVL engine.
