Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Huntington, WV is preparing to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Project Number 581-13-111, to Replace Pump House Generator, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Huntington, WV. SET-ASIDE: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOSB) PROJECT MAGNITUDE: $100,000 TO $250,000 NAICS: 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $14 million PROJECT OVERVIEW: The project will require the selected contractor to provide all parts, labor, management, equipment, permits, fees, supplies and materials, except for any Government furnished materials within the solicitation documents, to replace the Pump House Generator at the Huntington VAMC. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications and drawings. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses under the authority of 38 U.S.C 8127(d). To be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code. SDVOSB contractors must be verified and viewable in VETBIZ www.vip.vetbiz.gov prior to submission of bid and prior to award of contract. Status as a qualified SDVOSB concern is under the authority of 38 CFR Part 74 in accordance with the VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) Part 819. Eligibility determination is performed by the Center for Veterans Enterprises (CVE). Eligible SDOVSB concerns must also be registered at the following websites: System for Award Management (SAM): https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ VETS100 Report must be complete: http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html The solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website www.fbo.gov on or about June 5, 2013.
