GSA Schedule Bids Only: Sellers bidding on this opportunity MUST have the items requested on an existing GSA Schedule. The Schedule must either be in the Seller's name or the Seller must be able to document its ability to act as an agent of a partner's Schedule. Sellers must not bid more than their applicable contract ceiling price, excluding the FedBid Fee, for contract-specific items. If FedBid receives notice that, due to inclusion of the FedBid Fee, the Selected Bid's line item pricing is higher than the Selected Seller's applicable published government contract pricing, the FedBid Fee will be reduced to ensure the Selected Bid's line item pricing does not exceed the Selected Seller's applicable contract pricing. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified sellers may submit quotes.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2013-05-23 13:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be National City, CA 92136 The FLC - San Diego requires the following items, Exact Match Only, to the following: LI 001: ITEM 0001 GSA Approved/ Class 5-V Double Leaf- Modular Vault Doors Quantity: 1 EA Minimum Specifications: HAMILTON GSA Approved / Class 5-V Double Leaf ? Modular Security Vault Door with High Security X-09 Lock and Frame, Threshold and Hardware. 80 x 78" clear opening. No Optical Device. No Day Gate. 1. These New Vault Doors will be GSA Certified and WILL BEAR the GSA Label. Door must be GSA certified and documentation must be provided with the quote., 1, EA; LI 002: ITEM 0002 TURNKEY INSTALLATION Receive new vault doors at site, unload, take down existing vault doors, install and test new vault doors, and dispose of existing vault doors. 1. Vendor will receive and unload doors on site. The Government will not need to handle either door. 2. Installation must include unloading the doors from the delivery vehicle via the loading dock of the mail center. The loading dock platform stands at approximately 5-6 feet above the ground. 3. Installers will use a tent to control dust when walls are cut or modified, if needed. 4. The installer must be a GSA Certified inspector and upon completion, fully certify the vault as "GSA certified". Certifier must provide the necessary security container inspection/certification report. This report needs to be provided to the requiring activity upon completion. 5. The doors will be installed in a vault located at the NAVSUP FLCSD Regional Mail Center : 401 West 8th Street, National City, CA 91950. The contractor is required to obtain a day pass at the Naval Base San Diego Visitor Center located at : 3455 Senn Road San Diego, CA 92136-5084. The contractor must allot for up to 4 hours for visitor processing and must be accomplished before the actual start time of 0900 on the day of installation., 1, LOT; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted by using the 'Submit a Question' feature at www.fedbid.com. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, FLC - San Diego intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing quotes, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. FLC - San Diego is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time quotes.All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their quote using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
