- FA8224-13-T-0061 Solic. GPX Media The 309th CMXG is seeking quote for the purchase of ADM GPX Strach-g Acrylic Blast Media. The proposed item shall include all freight and handling charges delivered to Hill AFB, UT 84056. The supplier Midvale Environmental Technologies authorized per the manufacturer is considered the only one responsible source for the purchase of the ADM GPX Strach-g Acrylic Blast Media as authorized under Sole Source Justification Letter referencing ADM on the Qualified Product Listing for MIL -P-85891 IAW T.O. 1-1-8. "Application and Removal of Organic Coatings, Aerospace and Non-Aerospace Equipment" This combined Synopsis/Solicitation small business set aside request for quotation (RFQ) is a Firm Fixed Price effort capable of meeting the requirements listed in the attached solicitation. Technical evaluation for this item will be Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The Government intends to award a contract on the basis of these provided quotations. Please refer to the solicitation and requirements attachment for more detailed information. Sign and return completed solicitation. Any questions concerning this requirement must be submitted in writing, via email at least 2 working days prior to the closing date. Questions need to be emailed directly to joseph.barthold@hill.af.mil Please submit your electronic copy quote with a signed and dated completed solicitation. AUTHORITY: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), JUSTIFICATION: SUPPLIES REQUIRED ARE FROM ONLY ONE OR A LIMITED NUMBER OF RESPONSIBLE SOURCE(S) AND NO OTHER TYPE OF SUPPLIES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS FOR SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE, OR A LIMITED NUMBER OF SOURCES UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1. INTERESTED PERSONS MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT PROPOSALS. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. HOWEVER, ALL PROPOSALS RECEIVED PRIOR TO THE CLOSING DATE ON THE SOLICITATION WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT. A DETEMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO COMPETE THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLEY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL NORMALLY BE CONSIDERED SOLEY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. SPECIFICATIONS, PLANS, OR DRAWING RELATING TO THE PROCUREMENT DESCRIBED ARE INCOMPLETE OR NOT AVAILABLE AND CANNOT BE FURNISHED BY THE GOVERNMENT. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT OWN THE DATA OR RIGHTS TO THE DATA NEEDED TO PURCHASE THIS ITEM FROM ADDITIONAL SOURCES. Solicitation FA8224-13-T-0061 RFQ should be submitted by 10:00 AM MDT on 24 May 13.
