- ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Crystal Blake, Contracting Officer; email: crystal.n.blake2.civ@mail.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX3F5019AX; NOUN: Connecting Link, Rig; NSN: 3040-01-179-7455; P/N: 7-311527009; minimum qty of 350; maximum qty of 1050 each on a three year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract applicable to AH-64 Airframe with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA. Required delivery with Contractor Tested First Article Requirement is 350 each 263 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and up to 350 each year until contract completion. First Article Test Report is due 163 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Test is 350 each 175 DACA and up to 350 each year until contract completion. This is a Small Business Set-Aside that is limited to those small businesses, which are approved. This item is restricted to the approved small businesses: Apex Mfg Co. (CAGE: 2V343); W&G Machine Company, Inc. (CAGE: 33682); Master Research & Manufacturing, Inc. (CAGE: 9U245) & H.M. Dunn Company, L.P. (CAGE: 64666) because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source require acquisition of the part from the approved source. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsarand looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
