- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested for the required items and no written solicitation will be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-66 effective Friday, April 1, 2013; Defense DPN 20130419 effective 19 April 2013, and AFAC 2013-0327 effective 27 March 2013. This Request for Quote is set-aside for Small Business under NAICS 811310 with a small business size standard of $7,000,000. The 169th Engineer Battalion at the Naval Diving & Salvage Training Center NSA Pensacola, Florida requires the following service: The overhaul for two (2) Army High Pressure Air Compressors (HPAC's) #13 and #14 which are a part of a Navy Certified Diving System. These compressors are used to manufacture diver quality air. The specifications for this requirement is fully explained in the attached quote mark Scope of Work quote mark, due to the nature of this obligation the contractor needs to be familiar with requirements listed in the Statement of Work (SOW). NOTE: To perspective vendors this obligation requires person(s) to be MAKO certified and Navy Diving Systems. Type of Contract: The government anticipates a single award of a firm-fixed-price requirements contract. Proposals/offers shall be submitted in writing in Microsoft Word or PDF.
