- Subj: Request for Information for Advisor Training PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to conduct market research which will be used to formulate an acquisition strategy to provide advisory training for Security Cooperation teams. Skills obtained will enable Marines to advise foreign militaries. Advisory training is conducted by the Marine Corps Security Cooperation Group (MCSCG), Fort Story, VA 23459. The Regional Contracting Office, National Capital Region (RCO-NCR) is seeking responses from certified 8(a) Contractors. The qualifying code for this effort is 611699. MCSCG will be deploying teams of Marines throughout South America, Africa, and Central Command area of operations. These Marines will train and advise foreign militaries. MCSCG requires these Marines to have advanced training in several fields to improve the team's ability to advise and train as well as force protection for themselves. These Marines will be required to have the capability and understanding of defensive and evasive driving and combat casualty care skills, to prepare for their missions. MCSCG requires expert manpower support to further its ability to conduct training in selected tasks. Interested parties shall provide a training facility within 50 miles from Fort Story, Virginia Beach. All training will be conducted on a Contractor provided training facility. The Contractor must possess a climate controlled classroom capable of seating a minimum of 40 students. Responses to this RFI shall not exceed 15 pages, including cover letter and contact information. Subject response must contain: (1) Capability statement that includes capabilities and experience related to the objectives and competencies identified above, corporate or individual personnel experience is acceptable; (2) Identification of business size, to include Cage Code, and points of contact; (3) Link to the respondent's appropriate GSA Schedule or current/recent contract vehicle, or attached file of same (will not be counted toward your total page count); if the services are covered under your GSA schedule; (4) Other material relevant to establishing core competencies of the firm, such as management and contract support capabilities (e.g. cost accounting systems, DCAA and DCMA information). Response is due by 2:00 PM EST on 10 June 1013. Any information the Contractor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
