- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is AG-9A63-S-13-0147 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-66. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 332312 and small business size standard is 500 employees. This is for a quantity of 1 each portable restroom building. Specifications • One portable restroom building with two separate restroom units. Two toilet "bowls" suffice, one in each restroom unit. A urinal in one or both is acceptable, but not necessary. • Large (minimum 400 gallon) waste storage vault to minimize pumping needs • Flush system to minimize health issues with minimum 300 gallon water storage tank that corresponds to the holding tank size • ADA compliant • Colors should be "pumice" or tan color to blend in with background. • Proven field record that facility works as designed with minimal maintenance and repair • Aluminum/stainless (rust resistant) doors and accessories to cope with highly saline and alkali environment • Toilet paper dispensers • Sanitary napkin disposal • Low energy interior lights • Solar power system, including solar panels and batteries, to provide energy to lights and any mechanized equipment necessary for flushing • Unit must come with all equipment, parts, and accessories necessary to be fully operational upon arrival • No soil disturbance during siting of facility (the facility must sit on the existing ground) • Facility must be able to be moved as needed to accommodate fluctuating Lake Level, prefer having a system that can easily be towed by a standard pickup. Attaching a trailer hitch and wheels to the building with a jack system seems to make most sense. We would want to make sure that we can remove the "tow system" once in place so that it is looks better and is not towed illegally by the public. Delivery, as soon as practicable. The clause at 11.104,- User of Brand Name or Equal Purchase Descriptions, applies to this acquisition.
