- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma, Arizona has a Commercial Item Service requirement for the installation of Government furnished carpet of approximately 26,549 square feet. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials (including adhesive and floor preparation materials), equipment, and incidentals as necessary to install government furnished carpet, according to the manufacturer's requirements, as called for by the Contracting Officer or authorized representatives. Installation location is at the Yuma Area Office, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, Arizona. This requirement is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this action is 238330 Flooring Contractors with a Small Business Size Standard of $14.0 million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The Request for Quotation and any amendments will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) (www.fedbizopps.gov) website on or about May 29, 2013. The extent of the work will be described in the RFQ issued under number R13PS34079. Quotes will be solicited from local vendors as it is anticipated that at least 2 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) may be established and BPA Call will be issued on an as needed basis starting on about June 01, 2013. All interested parties are responsible for checking the FBO website to ensure that they have the most current information. Offerors are required to have a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award. Offerors may register in SAM at http://www.sam.gov. SAM is a new system combining federal procurement systems into one new system. This consolidation is being done in phases. This first phase of SAM includes the functionality from the following systems: Central Contractor Registration (CCR), Federal Agency Registration (Fedreg), Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) and Excluded Parties List System (EPLS).
