- NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 336413 which has a corresponding Size standard of 1,000. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. Responses need to include company POC information including Cage Code. Responses need to be limited to 10 one sided pages, 8x11 pages. Email responses to buyer, Dawn Schmidt, dawn.schmidt@hill.af.mil, NLT 4 June 2013, 2pm MST. 1 Background 1.1 The AIFF system is replacing the current APX-124 on combat coded F-16 Block 42 aircraft with the APX-125 Combined Transponder. 2 Program Description 2.1 The AIFF modification shall require a FMA Tool kit for drilling the FMA holes to adhere the FMA to the F-16 nose. The FMA tool kit being purchased under this order will be utilized by personnel for the F-16 Block 42 AIFF modification installation. 3 Program Objectives: The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to procure 1 FMA Tool Kit in support of the AIFF program. 4 Contractor Objectives Hardware: 4.1 FMA Tool Kit Item Nomenclature NSN PN UOI COST FMA Tool Kit MKT62L EA $TBD 4.2 Contractor shall deliver 1 FMA Tool Kit no later than 4 months After Receipt of Order (ARO). Early delivery is acceptable. The FMA Tool Kit shall be marked and container bar coded IAW MIL STD-129. The FMA Tool Kit be packed and shipped with appropriate shipping documents per the AFMC158. Delivery of the FMA Tool Kit shall be identified and shipped to: FB2029, 6137 Wardleigh Rd Bldg 1515, Hill Air Force Base, Utah 84056-5843. 4.3 Final acceptance of the FMA Tool Kit will be at destination. 4.4 Shipping charges shall be the responsibility of the contractor. 5 QUALITY REQUIREMENTS Quality processes/procedures will be utilized by the contractor at a level no lower than ISO 9001.
