- Description
- The Government intends to solicit on a unrestricted Full and Open Competition basis for the f.o.b. destination delivery of the following products: Liquid Nitrogen, Type II, Grade B, NSN 9135-00-965-2526 IAW MIL-PRF-27401F, dated 10 Jan 2008; Liquid Nitrogen, Type II, Grade C, NSN 9135-00-985-7080 IAW MIL-PRF-27401F, dated 10 Jan 2008; Liquid Nitrogen, Type II, Grade Q, NSN 6830-01-574-7964 IAW CGA 10.1; Liquid Oxygen, Type II, Grade A, NSN 9135-00-965-2527 IAW MIL-PRF-25508H, dated 27 Oct 2011. Liquid Argon, Type II, Grade A, NSN: 9135-00-759-7634 IAW MIL-PRF-27415B, dated 8 Feb 2007. Liquid Argon, Grade LW, NSN: 6830-01-526-5174 IAW DLA Energy Purchase Description, Argon, Low Water and Ultra Pure, dated 11 May 2005; Liquid Argon, Type II, Grade B, NSN: 9135-01-551-4562 IAW MIL-PRF-27415B, dated 8 Feb 2007. The offeror shall provide all supplies, management, tools, equipment, labor, and transportation necessary to provide an estimated quantity of 8,840 Tons of Liquid Oxygen (LOX); 588,633 Gallons of Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) and 4,168,040 Lbs of Liquid Argon. The period of performance is1 Oct 13 through 30 Sep 2018 for the following locations: Aerojet Rancho Cordova, CA (8,840 TN LOX); Naval Base Pt. Mugu, CA (75 TN LN2); Lockheed Martin King of Prussia, PA (4,150 TN LN2); Northrop Grumman Baltimore, MD (2,000 TN LN2); Robins AFB, GA (560,000 LB Argon); Mission Support Alliance DOE Richland, WA (19,200 TN LN2); CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Co. Doe Richland, WA 675,000 LB Argon); Tinker AFB, OK (2,093,040 LB Argon); and Anniston Army Depot, AL (840,000 LB Argon). Requirements for Edwards AFB, CA (20,000 TN LN2) are for delivery into the high pressure pipeline with a period of performance 1 Oct 2013-30 Sep 2018. Requirements for Battelle Memorial Institute, Pacific NW National Lab DOE Richland, WA is for one year plus four one-year options, 1 Oct 2013-30 Sep 2014 (Base Yr) (566,558 GL LN2) and 1 Oct 2014 - 30 Sep 2018, option years. The solicitation may contain line items for associated services such as Expedited Delivery, Detention, Hot Tank Fill, Fill Line Orifice, installation/removal of telemetry system, installation/removal of contractor provided tanks, tank lease, telemetry system lease and facility fee for pipe line. The Government anticipates awarding multiple Firm Fixed Price Requirements Type Contract(s). Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 4 Jun 2013 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). The anticipated award date will be on or about 30 Aug 2013.
