- Yakama Health Center Main Entrance Plaza and Sidewalk Improvement (YHC Sidewalk) This requirement is a total Small Business Set Aside. Anyone may view the solicitation package, but only a Small Business is eligible to submit a quote. The NAICS code for the solicitation is 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. $14.0 million threshold. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, any associated Tribal fees, and supervision necessary to complete the work involving: The Yakama Health Clinic main entrance concrete plaza and landscaping are in need of restoration. Also, the deteriorating concrete sidewalk surfaces near four other entrances need surface treatment. This project will improve walkway conditions to eliminate tripping hazards and to provide easy access for people with disabilities. The main entrance walkway's sub-base has settled significantly over the years, causing an uneven walking surface and creating major gaps in between the cast-in-place concrete slabs. This project will also include landscaping revitalization to improve appearance of the main entrance plaza. The work will involve: construction of a temporary walkway, removal of the existing concrete walkways, reconstruct the concrete walkways with stabilized sub base, revitalizing the landscaping at the main entrance plaza, and repairing damaged concrete sidewalk surfaces with fiber reinforced concrete resurfacing material. The Yakama Health Center (YHC) complex is located on the Confederated Tribes and Band of the Yakama Nation's reservation at Toppenish, Washington approximately 20 miles south of Yakima, Washington. 401 Buster Road, Toppenish, WA 98948. The work will be performed within the boundaries of a Tribal reservation, the work will be subject to Yakama Nation Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). There will be no organized site visit but per 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) site visits may be arranged by contacting the facility person(s) and those contacts will be stated in the solicitation in Section L of the solicitation. Per FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance is 60 days from Notice to Proceed. A payment bond (Alternative Payment Protection) of 100% of the contract price is required prior to Notice to Proceed for all construction contracts awarded over $30,000. The solicitation package will be available for download on or about June 6, 2013 by an amendment to this notice. We estimate a 30 day open period but the actual closing date will be on the solicitation. To receive automatic updates to this notice an interested vendor can click on the "Watch This Opportunity." This acquisition is governed by FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is not a sealed bid and there will be no official "bid opening."
