Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking small business firms to provide Inspection, Testing, and Evaluation Services of the Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems at the National Great Rivers Museum located at #1 Lock and Dam Way, East Alton, Illinois in accordance with the specifications contained in the solicitation (to be posted on or after 4 June 2013). Work shall consist of performing Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system commissioning to include the performance of Re-Commissioning checks; documentation of inoperable components of the system, performance of functional performance test, submission of contractor recommendations for replacement, energy efficient upgrades, and or alteration/repair of inoperable system components and repairs as specified in the contract specifications. The Contractor shall inspect, evaluate, and provide recommendations for repair, replacement, or improvement of the existing Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system and components serving the National Great Rivers Museum located at #2 Lock and Dam Way, East Alton, IL 62024. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary plant, equipment, materials, supplies, and labor required to perform the scope of work described herein and shall also furnish all supervision necessary to plan, administer, and perform the specified services. All work shall be performed to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer or authorized representative in accordance with the scope of work (which will post on or after 4 June 2013). This solicitation is quote mark SMAL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE quote mark under the NAICS Code 238220. The basis for award will be Technically Acceptable/Lowest Price technique. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation requirements. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. Electronic copies are permitted to: twila.a.hopkins2@usace.army.mil by the closing date. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation will be available on or after 4 June 2013. For changes to the issue date or any other changes to the information in this synopsis, potential offers are responsible to check the information at www.fedbizopps.gov/. This solicitation package will be posted on Fed Biz Opps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov/. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation or the Interested Vendors List (IVL). Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package or the IVL list will not be honored unless the FBO website is not available. Potential offerors MUST register at www.fedbizopps.gov/, in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The IVL will be activated and may be accessed and printed from this wed site. Prospective offerors who would like their company name included on the Bidders Mailing List (plan holders list) may do so on the FedBizOpps website under IVL. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for proposal preparation costs.
