Description
NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) plans to conduct an Industry Day overview of the JSC Administrative Support Services (JASS) II vision. The presentation for Industry Day will be held via WebEx/teleconference from 9:00 am to 10:00 am (CDT) on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. NASA/JSC is targeting 8(a) set-asides for the JASS II effort, but participation in the JASS II Industry Day is not limited to 8(a) companies. The Government will also provide one-on-one communication opportunities which can be scheduled from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm (CDT) on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, and from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (CDT) on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. One-on-one meetings will not exceed 30 minutes in length and attendance is limited to three participants from each company. Scheduling of one-on-one appointment times will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please RSVP by June 6, 2013, by 12:00 noon (CDT). (Instructions are below.) Please specify face to face or teleconference with your RSVP. The JASS contract provides full-time, part-time, and temporary administrative support to organizations in fulfilling JSCs mission and objectives. Major areas of the contract include branch/office and division-level throughout the Center, program/directorate-level support, flight crews (launch and landing activity support), center-level meeting support, special teams and short-term projects. The effort will include general office services, data management, time and labor collection, the coordination for property, moves, training, information services, special events and other miscellaneous activities. The primary work areas for this contact are at the NASA JSC, Houston, Texas, Ellington Field (EF), Houston, Texas, Sonny Carter Training Facility (SCTF), Houston, Texas, and White Sands Test Facility (WSTF), Las Cruces, New Mexico. The current version of the Statement of Work (SOW) for the JASS contract, NNJ09JA02B, is provided on the JASS II website at http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/jassII/.An on-line technical library for the JASS II procurement is also available via the JASS II website. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor the website for any future updates. JASS II WEBEX INDUSTRY DAY: JASS II WebEx Industry Day is open to firms that are interested in pursuing contracting opportunities on the JASS II procurement. To be able to access the JASS II WebEx Industry Day, please email Andrea Browne, Contracting Officer at andrea.browne-1@nasa.gov. Your email must include the following: 1.Subject line: JASS II WebEx Industry Day RSVP 2.Companys name and address. 3.The companys Points of Contact (POCs) names, telephone numbers, and email addresses. 4.NASA intends to post all attendees in the interested parties list. If you wish not to be included on the list, you must indicate that your firm does not want to be included. A confirmation email will be sent to acknowledge your reservation and provide further instructions on how to join the WebEx.Questions will be allowed at the end of the WebEx presentation. GOALS: 1.Provide information on the current JASS contract. 2.Provide information on the JASS II vision. 3.Promote competition on the potential JASS II acquisition. 4.Share the Governments current vision for the Human Resources Directorate pertaining to the current contract. 5.Provide industry with the opportunity to meet with the Government early enough in the procurement process to provide input into the JASS II procurement strategy. 6.Allow NASA/JSC to better utilize industry input to assist in the development of a future Request for Proposal (RFP) for the JASS II procurement. Industry Day is open to all firms that are interested in pursuing contracting/subcontracting opportunities on the JASS II effort whether they have performed work at JSC or not. All interested parties are encouraged to participate in the WebEx. ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS: To facilitate interactive communications with industry, NASA personnel will also be available for private meetings in person or via teleconference with individual companies in conjunction with Industry Day. The purpose of these meetings is to provide industry with the opportunity to better understand the existing requirements under the JASS and to allow industry an opportunity to provide input related to the JASS II procurement. The meetings are intended to be question and answer sessions in which neither side will be making a formal presentation. Any company may request a one-on-one meeting. One-on-one meetings can be either in person or via teleconference. The meetings will not exceed 30 minutes in length and attendance is limited to three participants. Scheduling of appointment times will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Appointments will be scheduled every 40 minutes between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm (CDT) on June 11, 2013 and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (CDT) on June 12, 2013. No photographic or recording devices are permitted during the Industry Day presentation or one-on-one meetings. Guidance for conduct during the one-on-one communications is attached to this posting as Attachment 1: One-on-One Communications with Industry Guidance. SIGN-UP REQUIREMENT: To schedule a one-on-one appointment, please email Andrea Browne, Contracting Officer at andrea.browne-1@nasa.gov. Your one-on-one RSVP email must include the following: 1.Subject line: JASS II One-on-One RSVP 2.Companys name and address. 3.The companys Points of Contact (POCs) names, telephone numbers, and email addresses. 4.The email RSVP must explicitly state each of the companys attendees names and titles (limited to three) that intend to attend the one-on-one meetings. Any special time requests, with justification, will only be accommodated as practical. This information applies for teleconference and in-person one-on-one meetings. 5.Please state whether you prefer to hold the one-on-one meeting in person or by teleconference. Email reservations for the one-on-one meetings must be received no later than 12:00 noon (CDT) on June 6, 2013.A confirmation email will be sent to acknowledge your reservation and scheduled time. Scheduling of appointment times will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional meeting times will be arranged as soon as practical should the number of firms requesting meetings exceed the time times available on June 11 and 12, 2013 DIRECTIONS TO THE GILRUTH CENTER: From I-45 South: Take the FM-2351/Friendswood/Clear Lake City Blvd exit. Turn Left onto Clear Lake City Blvd and proceed approximately 2.5 miles. Turn Right onto Space Center Blvd and proceed approximately 4.1 miles. Turn Right to the Johnson Space Center Gilruth Center at Gate 5. Park in the Gilruth Building Parking Lot. Enter through the Gilruth Centers Front Entry. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and the door on the Left will be the entrance to the Rio Grande Room. From I-45 North: Take the NASA Bypass exit. Merge onto the NASA Bypass/NASA Road 1 and proceed for approximately 4 miles. Turn Left onto Space Center Blvd and proceed 0.8 miles.Turn Left to the Johnson Space Center Gilruth Center at Gate 5. Park in the Gilruth Building Parking Lot. Enter through the Gilruth Centers Front Entry.Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and the door on the Left will be the entrance to the Rio Grande Room. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS). It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
