- Description
- Monitoring and Evaluation services for the Promoting Gender Equality in National Priority Programs (PROMOTE) project • Track implementation and achievement of benchmarks and monitor progress of the PROMOTE program. • Provide independent assessments and evaluations of the PROMOTE program at required times during the life of the program, including: o Tracking the external and internal environment for the target women's group in the selected geographic areas to provide a picture of the context in which PROMOTE and other gender programming is to be implemented; o Collecting, synthesizing and analyzing data at the municipal, district (if feasible), provincial and regional levels to identify the most effective drivers of women's program outcomes, track higher-order women's programming trends, and inform U. S. Government (USG) and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) policy and practice related to women's issues in Afghanistan; and o Contribute to the larger body of knowledge on best practices and lessons learned related to the design, implementation and assessment of programs for women and gender activities in Afghanistan. • Contribute to the larger body of knowledge on best practices and lessons learned related to the design, implementation and assessment of gender activities in Afghanistan through reporting for the PROMOTE program as a whole.
