- AMOS Registration Package SOR Registration Package SITE VISITS AND FACILITY TOURS: The Air Force Material Command, Air Force Research Laboratory, Directed Energy Directorate, Space Electro-Optics (EO) Division (AFRL/RDS) at Kirtland AFB NM, is conducting Site Visits and Facility Tours of RDS facilities to be used for the "R&D for Advanced Space Superiority Technology and Engineering Requirements" (RASTER) acquisition. SITE VISIT AND FACILITY TOUR INFORMATION: Date: 04 June 2013 (1-day event) Location: The Starfire Optical Range (SOR) Building 66048, Room 106 Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico **Tentative** Date: 11-12 June 2013 (2-day event) Location: Air Force Maui Optical and Super Computing Site (AMOS) Meet at Maui High Performance Computing Center (MHPCC) 550 Lipoa Parkway Kihei, Hawaii **The AMOS Site Visit and Facility Tour is tentative due to restrictions on Government travel. If travel is approved, this notice will be updated to definitize the dates and times of the AMOS Site Visit and Facility Tour.** OBJECTIVE: The Site Visits and Facility Tours are being held in anticipation of the planned release of the RASTER Request for Proposal (RFP). The SOR Site Visit and Facilities Tour will kick off on the morning of 04 June 2013 with an overview briefing, followed by a tour of AFRL/RDS facilities at Kirtland AFB. **Tentative** The first day of the AMOS Site Visit and Facilities Tour will kick off on the morning of 11 June 2013 with an overview briefing, followed by tours of the facilities in Kihei. The second day of the AMOS Site Visit and Facilities Tour will kick off on the morning of 12 June 2013 and will be dedicated to the tour of the facilities on Mt. Haleakala. **Tentative** Attendees must provide their own transportation to/from the event locations. Parking will be available at the sites to be visited. Additional information concerning these Site Visits and Facilities Tours is provided in the registration packages attached to this announcement. REGISTRATION: Pre-registration and approved visit requests for each Site Visit and Facility Tour is mandatory. Persons not pre-registered and pre-approved will not be allowed to attend. Attendees will be required to show Government-issued identification at each event's check-in location. Registration is limited to persons who are US citizens, with at least a US SECRET clearance. Due to space limitations, registration is limited to two (2) representatives per company. Each company must register its employees for this event by following the instructions provided in the registration packages attached to this announcement. Note that the events have separate registration packages. Each company must ensure that it has properly registered its representatives for the desired events. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: At each location of the Site Visit and Facility Tour, all questions must be presented in writing on the questionnaire provided in the registration package; attendees should bring writing materials. Following each event, any additional questions from the attendees must be submitted in writing by e-mail to Mr. Cale Reedy (cale.reedy@kirtland.af.mil) no later than five (5) calendar days after date of each event. An overall "Q&A" will be posted to FedBizOpps addressing the questions deemed relevant by the RASTER Procuring Contracting Officer and Program Manager. Information provided at these events shall not qualify the terms and conditions of any resultant solicitation. Company representatives are not allowed to request individual meetings with Government personnel associated with the RASTER acquisition. Individual Site Visits and/or Facility Tours will not be provided for representatives unable to attend the scheduled events. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred as a result of attendance at these events.
