Description
Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. BACKGROUND: The Mission Simulation Center (MSC), Fort Sill, OK 73503, utilizes the Call for Fire Trainer 2 Plus (CFFT2+) in training. The CFFT2+ is designed to create a dynamic, immersive, virtual environment by placing the Soldier on the virtual battlefield in order to teach the cognitive skills required by joint fires observers and integrators. CFFT2+ has supported training for thousands of Soldiers in environments that leverage the entertainment community's tools and methods to bring a new level of fidelity and immersion to Army training. The MSC uses multiple 3d perception Compact View SX+22 projectors to create Immersive environments. REQIUREMENT: a. Repair 3d perception Compact View SX+22 projectors. The projector will not power on and screws holding lamp are stripped and new lamp cannot be installed. RFI: If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. Please provide only the minimum information necessary to demonstrate capability at this time. All responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information: a. Company's full name, address, telephone, and point of contact with email address; b. Company's Cage Code, DUNs, and Certs and Reps; c. Company's Capability Statement; d. A statement indicating the offeror's interest in submitting a proposal; e. A statement indicating the offeror's ability to prepare and submit detailed invoices via Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF); f. Company Socio-Economic Program Participation: small, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, Woman-owned, Service disabled veteran-owned; g. A statement indicating what services, if any, will be subcontracted (i.e., maintenance, reporting, etc.). Interested parties may contact the Contracting Officer listed below to obtain a picture of the projectors(s) requiring repair prior to closing date of this notice. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to 1) provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated; 2) secure and apply the full range of corporate financial, human capital, and technical resources required to successfully perform similar requirements; 3) implement a successful project management plan that includes: compliance with tight program schedules; cost containment; meeting and tracking performance; hiring and retention of key personnel and risk mitigation; and 4) provide services under a performance based service acquisition contract. Based on the responses to this Sources Sought Notice, any resulting requirement may be set-aside for Small Business Programs or procured through full and open competition.
