THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. Market Research is being conducted to determine small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Woman Owned Small Business and HUBZone interest. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set-aside the requirement for small businesses. The New Mexico VA Health Care System located 1501 San Pedro DR SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 is trying to determine whether to set-aside a contract to provide the rental of Rental of Cryo machine (Galil Visual Ice Cryoablation system) to include a cryoablation system technician for each procedure and supply of needles/probes (e.g. IceRod Plus 90, Ice Edge 2.4, IceRod CX, IceRod/Seed Prostate). Veteran's Administration surgeons will accomplish the procedure, however, the vendor shall be onsite during procedures at the VA, to instruct on the machine's use and test/trial. Contractor's technician shall bring equipment and minimally expendable supplies to each procedure. Brand Name or Equal (17G) may be quoted. Contractor Requirements The contractor shall provide a certified specialist. Contractor personnel shall have training and experience in all aspects of clinical cryotherapeutic systems. Contractor provided specialists, shall include, but not limited to: Furnish certified specialists coverage for a wide range of various surgical procedures. Certified specialists will be available to assist in necessary operative services for services which shall include but not restricted to, the following: Set up systems during the period of operative procedures and serve as a content expert. Galill G17 system shall be inherent to provided services Shall provide professional expertise in the selection and justification of disposable supplies and equipment. Shall provide performance information on procedures to the surgeon for medical record documentation the same day as procedure is performed. For each case, the Contractor shall remain until permission is given leave.
