- Solicitation US Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Region, Acquisition Management has issued this solicitation with the intent to purchase small arms ammunition for the Fiscal Year 2014, to meet their training and mission requirements for all Rocky Mountaion Region Law Enforcement and Investigation Officers. This is a commercial acquisition; therefore, award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. This acquisition is unrestricted and competitive. Other information for vendors is listed below: Registration requires a D-U-N-S Number from Duns and Bradstreet and may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Vendors must have a valid D-U-N-S Number. Request a D-U-N-S Number from Duns and Bradstreet on the web at http://www.dnb.com/us/duns_update/ Register in the System for Award Management (SAM) and complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application in SAM as stated in the solicitation. Vendors can access SAM at http://www.sam.gov. Solicitation notice is attached.
