- This is a sources sought notice for acquisition planning purposes. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time. All qualified concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative, and management capability of such offerors to perform this type of work. The capability statements will be used to determine appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside or an alternate procurement strategy is warranted. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office has a requirement to replace three of the four pneumatic ejector lift equipment with a standard wet well sewer lift station that consists of a duplex electric grinder pump system. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office is seeking responsible sources having capabilities of performing the work. The principal components of work to be performed will include the demolition of the existing pneumatic ejector lift station systems within the existing dry wells, delivery of packaged corrosion resistant wet well unit with alternating duplex grinder pump lift stations to the site, installation of the packaged units including sanitary sewer bypass pumping, final connection to existing force main sewer line, and any temporary sewer service with daily cleaning such as port-a-johns for the YAO personnel during construction period. This acquisition, when announced, will be conducted under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 237110 Water & Sewer Line & Related Structures Constructions, small business size standard of $33.5 million. Capability statements are to be submitted not later than June 6, 2013. The capabilities package submitted by a vendor should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to perform the principal components of work listed above. Packages should include the following information: (1)Provide business name, address, business size and type (8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number. (2)Demonstrate the firm's experience by providing a list of projects completed where the work involved in installation of sewer lift stations, comparable requirement, was completed within the past three years, and in which your firm performed the work. Include in the list only work comparable to the size for which your firm was entirely responsible for providing the labor, facilities, equipment, and material. Additionally, for each project listed, provide the following: a brief description of the work performed, project title, dollar value of the job, location, and the customer's contact name and phone number for the work completed. (3)Provide a detailed description of the type of facilities where the work was performed, including size of facility, and the type and capabilities of installation of sewer lift stations units.
