- Solicitation Number:W911SG Response Date: 14 June 2013 Classification Code: NAICS:532412 Title:Rental of light/heavy construction equipment The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort bliss, Texas is seeking potential sources for rental of light/ heavy construction equipment in support of the Joint Task Force North operations conducted in the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas along the US-Mexico Border. This is a Sources Sought announcement ONLY and not a pre-solicitation, therefore, a contractor should not interpret it as a commitment by the Government. A solicitation is not available at this time; therefore, any requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This is a Sources Sought announcement seeking only qualified small businesses (e.g., small business, 8(a), service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone small business, and women-owned small business) responses in order to determine Small Business participation in this acquisition. Contractor shall make available for rental to the Government, either singly or in multiples, the equipment indicated in accordance with contract specifications. The contractor must provide equipment within 24 hours of notification by an authorized Government agent and repair or replace equipment that is not operational within 24 hours of notification. All equipment shall be rendered in an efficient, economical way and must be in safe and operable condition before the Governments acceptance. It is the Government's discretion to make the subsequent award as either complete or partial. The period of performance is a base year period of twelve (12) months with four (4) 12- month option years. All work is to be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The designated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 532412 ( Construction, Mining and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing), with a small business size standard of $30 million. Your response shall include the following information: Your DUNS number or CAGE code, your small business status (i.e., small business, 8(a), HUB Zone, WOSB, VOSB, SDVOSB, etc), revenue for the last three years, relevant past performance on same/similar work within the last three years, and your company's capability to do the work. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources-sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. Responses should not exceed five (5) pages in length.
