- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office - SCRO, plans to issue solicitation IFBP05091300001 for the construction of, to include but not limited to, replace the jail unit programmable logic controller. The successful contractor will provide all labor, materials and equipment for removing and replacing all existing door controls with a new reduntant programmable logic controller and associated equipment in the control center and jail buildings. The performance period is 120 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor for the complete construction of the work located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Worth, Texas. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The solicitation will be available on or about June 11, 2013 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately July 16, 2013. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website http//www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
