- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement to supply and deliver Sandy Fat Clay and Gravel to the Harrison Lake National Fish Hatchery, Charles City Virginia between the dates of June 10, 2013 to July 1, 2013 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and contained in the specification attached to solicitation F13PS00512 that are posted at the FedConnect website (See link below). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See attached document at FEDConnect titled Solicitation Package.pdf Solicitation Number F13PS00512 is being issued as a Request for Bids (IFB) with the intent to issue a single Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses can be found at the link to the FEDConnect website. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside procurement. The NAICS code for this procurement is 423320 - Gravel, Construction, Merchant Wholesalers. The Size Standard is 100 Employees. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulations at FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Harrison Lake NFH requires the awarded contractor to supply and deliver 3000 CY of Sandy Clay (United Soil Classification System = CH) and 300 CY of Gravel (Angular Crusher Run Granite) in accordance with the attached specification document located at the FEDConnect website. All offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), if you are not registered in (SAM), an award CANNOT be made to your company. You may register electronically at http://www.sam.gov. Offerors shall submit documentation with there bid package of three past performance project completed in the past three year that demonstrate their qualifications, such as experience of the company in making deliveries of similar volumes, meeting equivalent delivery schedules for like materials on contracts of a similar type, size, scope & complexity. Bidders are requested to review the specification and Bid Schedule in its entirety before submitting their bids. Bidders are encouraged to submit questions at least 3 days prior to the closing/response date of the combine sysnopsis/solicitation in order to ensure adequate time is allotted to form an appropriate response and amend the solicitation, if necessary.
