- ****ATTENTION**** FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO: Ms. Debra Wood. You may FAX or MAIL your request to: CCAM-AUA (Bldg 5300); Redstone Arsenal, AL; ATTENTION: Ms. Debra Wood, Contracting Officer, Fax Number 256-313-8066. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone has a requirement for new work to be incorporated via modification to existing contract W58RGZ-12-C-0075. The new work, to be performed under the contract, consists of converting five (5) Government Furnished One System Ground Control Stations (OSGCS) to the Gray Eagle OSGCS configuration (drawing number 38659-41001). The conversions will consist of both hardware and software changes. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 United States Code 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a) (2). The proposed acquisition of this effort is directly related to the ongoing and future work being performed by the Gray Eagle prime contractor, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Incorporated (GA-ASI), CAGE CODE 0YJB5. This requirement must be restricted for the following reasons: 1) GA-ASI is the only source with the corporate knowledge, expertise, and facilities to execute the conversion; 2) GA-ASI is the designer, developer, integrator, and sole manufacturer of the Gray Eagle Block0/Block 1 Systems. Firms that recognize and can perform the conversions are encouraged to identify themselves via mail or fax. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement and proposal which shall be considered.
