Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a service contract plus 4 option years for Boiler Plant Inspection, Safety Device Testing, and Calibration at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System located at 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, NV 89502. Estimated cost is below $150,000. Statement of Work is attached. It is anticipated an RFP will be released on or about June 3, 2013. At this point in the procurement process, the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine contractor socio-economic category, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a) etc. Interested firms should send, by e-mail only, the following information: Socio-Economic Category; DUNS number. Information shall be sent to Rusty.Stevenson@va.gov by close of business May 28, 2013. Estimated total contract to include option years is below $150,000. Information received will be used in any set aside determination. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 541350.
