- This is a Request for Information (RFI) IAW FAR 15.201 (e) Exchange with Industry. The sole purpose of this RFI is to gather market research for USAID. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The government shall not pay for information or materials received in response to this notice. All information marked PROPRIETARY shall be handled IAW USAID CIO. NAICS Code: 334118, Computer Terminals and Other Computer Peripherals Equipment Manufacturing. Scope/Objectives: The agency seeks a scalable COT state-of-the-art electronic information display system to communicate and display real-time information to the USAID community. A display to broadcast emergency alerts, and other pertinent information, in addition to live video broadcasts by the Administrator to the USAID population. The Electronic directories shall be implemented in phases. Phase 1 is at the Ronald Reagan Building (RRB) in downtown Washington, DC. Other phases shall be integrated with the system to include Potomac Yards 2 (PY2) in Crystal City, VA and Building SA-44 in DC with overseas missions. Performance: System shall have both static & dynamic display simultaneously by organization or floor. System base shall operate from the Point 4 Conference Room in Administrator's Office. System shall have capability for live broadcast. System shall have (RRB) floor plan for way finding. System shall be Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) registered. System shall be web-based with login ability from any computer to manage content. System shall be adapted for live streaming and have compatibility with USAID cameras and video teleconferencing. System shall be of broadcast quality for satellite and cable reception Contractor shall be trained three USAID personnel in a one-day train-the trainer session. System shall require sixteen (16) 42-inch flat panel LED or LCD displays and two (2) 50-inch displays for the main RRB lobby and Administrator's floor. Contractor shall provide patches, maintenance releases or upgrades based on the products current road map. USAID request the following information from potential sources: Company name, must be System for Award Management (SAM) registered. Provide brief capability statement (not to exceed 8-10 pages). References from 3 past Government agencies performance. Describe organizations experience on previous federal project similar in complexity to this notice. Estimated time to install and began deliverables. Please indicate which requirements are part of the COT product and which would be considered optional or customizations.
