Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724, issued a sole source award to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) under the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5), 'Authorized or Required by Statute', as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5. For this action, 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), known as the Veterans First Contracting Program, provides the authority to directly contract with a SDVOSB. A Firm-Fixed-Price Contract VA118-13-C-0035 was awarded to BNL, Inc., 11760 Armistead Filler Lane, Lovettsville, Virginia 20180, for the management, business, functional and technical services required to help the VA Government team provide programmatic oversight on the Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) Initiative programs and projects. The Contractor shall provide services to support the VLER Program Management Office (PMO) in its programmatic oversight responsibilities on multiple complex information technology development, modernization and enhancement programs and projects. The period of performance is 6-months in the total amount of $628,613.16.
